The day started with the kids that were coming on the first session to cardigan getting off of the bus. We got into our groups and prepared to start our hike, a little while later we set off into the forest. We stopped to sketch at a small overhang of dirt looking over the stream below. After sketching and having some food our group set off hiking once again. We occasionally stopped to sketch. But we soon made it to the waterfall. It wasn't very large but it still looked cool. Our group had lunch and played on the rocks.

Not long after coming we decided to leave so we hiked back up the trail with renewed energy from our lunch. Our pace was slow since we stopped to race sticks in the stream and play a game of try to find the pencil before the others and not look stupid. But despite our slow progress we soon made it to the AMC lodge. Our group was bored since we still had a good chunk of time to kill so we soon started playing 500 (a popular game that involves throwing a ball and determining how many points whoever will get the ball receives.) Soon the bus came back and we filed into it. I plopped down and started to read my book to pass the time while on the bus.
